About

4/1/11 UPDATE: Due to my lax security on Twitter, Ron found out about the blog today. I have been evangelizing Twitter for years, and he picks now to join? Oh well. I am not dead yet, so that is good. No need to worry about the secrecy anymore, though.

I am not really Ron Davis. I am his son-in-law, Nathan Cooprider. I have been wanting my father-in-law to start blogging for a while. I think he would enjoy the creative outlet, the interaction with the readers, and the potential ad revenue. Despite my pestering for the last couple of years, he has not caught the blogging bug. I can't force it on him. I can't force him to blog.

So I'll blog for him.

I got the idea from The Secret Diary of Steve Jobs, but I went a different route in terms of content. Instead of a vicious satire, I am trying to post things as close to how Ron would actually post them. I have gathered emails I've received from him which I think could make decent blog posts. In some cases I have tweaked things to preserve privacy. I have occasionally tweaked the formatting. In all cases I feel the content would make good blog posts (or at least good tweets).

Since the posts come from Ron with minor tweaks, they are from his perspective. As of writing this, he does not know about this blog. I will tell him about it later, once it is up and rolling. If you know Ron, please do not let him in on the secret. I really do think he would really enjoy blogging, so I want to give him an awesome introduction.

Remember: It's a secret! Don't tell Ron!
